This weekend is the ulimate FIND weekend of the summer! Come out and join us!
Saturday, 6/30:
We shall be marching in the parade at the Filipino-American Friendship Day at Redwing Park! Come out and wear a D7 shirt if you got one! The festival is 9AM-6PM. Parade is early morning.
After the parade, come out and play with us at the Beach!
Sunday, 7/1:
General Body Meeting and Elections: Hosted at ODU in the Mills Godwin Blg Room 102, the summer general body meeting will include discussions about old events and future events, t-shirts, and others. Following the meeting, we will have elections for the 2012-2013 FIND D7 Executive Board. Everyone is encourage to come out and get involved! Positions up for grabs and other information can be found on the Facebook event page.

It’s Culture Night season? OH YEAH IT IS.
Kick the season off with FASA at The College of William and Mary, who has their Culture Night this Friday evening at the Sadler Center, 6pm! This year’s title is Palalakbay (or “Journey).
Lured by the prospect of a tropical Winter Break getaway, four friends head to the Philippines in search of the elusive Sinulog Festival, a lively, bright, and colorful celebration of epic proportions. It’s all fun and games until things don’t go according to plan…which doesn’t take very long at all. Stuck in a country none of them have ever been to before, will they be able to stick together long enough to find the festival they came for?
Tickets are $5 for FIND members who RSVP early, $10 at the door, which includes show and delicious Filipino food!

We are so grateful all of you could come to support DVII and the HeCares Foundation. We had a total of 92 guests tonight and made $1310.00!!! THAT’S AMAZING! HeCares are going to be extremely happy!

Thanks for all who came out and tried your best out there on this sorta rainy day. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and hopefully made a few new friends! Congrats to everyone for sticking through the whole day. You guys are AWESOME. I mean, really. I almost cried tears of joy. Also, shout out to Tidewater Community College for winning 1st place this year! WOOT!
On another note, don’t forget we have a general meeting tomorrow at 12pm at Temple 1164! COME OUT AND HAVE MORE FUN :)
